Anquan Boldin traded to the Ravens

ESPN is reporting Anquan Boldin has been traded to Baltimore. The deal is, according to Adam Schefter, Boldin and the Cards’ fifth-rounder for the Ravens’ third- and fourth-round picks.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin has indeed returned to health with a flourish, making eight catches for 105 yards to this point. He needed 100 yards to reach 7,000 in his career, so with that milestone he ties Isaac Bruce as the fifth-fastest player to reach 7,000 receiving yards, doing it in his 88th game.

The Cardinals have announced their inactives for Sunday’s game and wide receiver Anquan Boldin (ankle) is inactive today against the Bears, as is starting linebacker Gerald Hayes (back). It’s a little bit of a surprise Boldin isn’t going, but now we see what Early Doucet can do.

Anquan Boldin sets franchise catches mark

Anquan Boldin has caught more passes than anyone in Cardinals history. But no one can say for sure when he'll have the opportunity to add to his total. Boldin aggravated a right-ankle sprain in the third quarter Sunday on the 537th reception of his career, an 8-yard gain. He hobbled off the field and didn't return. Boldin passed fullback Larry Centers, who had 535 receptions. Boldin has played the past two games despite the sprain, but his availability for Sunday's game at Chicago is in question.

Boldin leaves game with ankle injury

Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin left Sunday's game against Carolina in the third quarter after aggravating his sprained right ankle.
Boldin, who had been questionable for the game, was helped from the field with 8:53 to play in the third. Before he left, he caught two passes to pass Larry Centers and become the Cardinals' career leader in receptions.

Cards WR Boldin's status still up in air

The Cardinals won't know until later this week if they will be without wide receiver Anquan Boldin for Sunday night's game at the New York Giants. Boldin injured his right ankle in Arizona's 27-3 win at Seattle. X-rays taken at Qwest Field revealed no broken bones, and coach Ken Whisenhunt said Boldin's ankle is sprained. "The doctors are going to take a look at him, and we'll see how he's doing as the week progresses," Whisenhunt said. If Boldin can't play, the Cardinals know they can turn to No. 3 receiver Steve Breaston, who caught seven passes for 77 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks.

Cards WR's Boldin and Breaston remain limited

WR Anquan Boldin continues to be limited, but he’ll probably stay that way until he feels fully healed. He knows he’s not there yet. Wide receiver Steve Breaston (knee) was back at practice on a limited basis today, which is a good sign as the Cards move toward the Jacksonville game. Of course, Breaston practiced all last week and didn’t play, so he’s probably a guy who will — no matter what — be someone that has to see game day how his injury responds. (Both players are listed as questionable for Week 2.)

Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin was limited again in practice Friday, and his availability for Sunday's game against the 49ers likely won't be determined until pregame warmups. Boldin, who is listed as questionable, said he did some sprinting Friday but didn't try to push himself too hard.

Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin suffered a strained right hamstring in Tuesday's practice and missed Wednesday's workout. Coach Ken Whisenhunt called it a tweak and wouldn't rule Boldin out of Friday's preseason game against the Packers. He did, however, say the Cardinals would be cautious in dealing with Boldin's injury."
